Reinforcing Membrane for PTFE Electrolysis

Reinforcing Membrane for PTFE Electrolysis

PTFE type perfluorosulfonic acid reinforced membrane is formed by solution casting method. Due to the addition of high-strength polytetrafluoroethylene mesh cloth as a support layer and a perfluorosulfonic acid resin with suitable molecular weight and ion exchange capacity, the perfluorosulfonic acid reinforced membrane of PTFE type is compared with ordinary CM-10N series perfluorosulfonic acid. The sulfonic acid membrane effectively reduces the capacity loss caused by the mutual channeling of positive and negative solutions caused by membrane swelling, and greatly improves the chemical resistance and durability of the membrane itself. Widely used in: chlor-alkali industry, electrolysis of water for hydrogen production, chlorine dioxide generator, amino acid refining, gold salt preparation, copper recovery from etching solution and other fields.
